Cruising range
So the rx has a 19 gallon so gas tank, however I have noticed that the car goes to the empty light around 11-13 gallons of gas used. When I fill it all the way I get around 315miles of range according to the car. Anyone else experiencing this?

I have a range of 350 miles after I top off my tank. I get about 20 mpg and usually have 50 miles range left when my low fuel warning light comes on.
So based on that I have about 4 gallons fuel reserve left when my low fuel warning light comes on.

So it is basically similar, I did not expect to have such a big reserve tank.

Yeah, Toyota is good about that.
That said, there is no trophy for trying to beat the reserve and run dry. Presume that when it shows "0" left on cruising range, you still have 40 safe miles to go till fueling. That is under condition of not being stuck for 2 hrs in traffic middle of winter, when you MUST have engine running.
