Trust that I am still on a quest to amp the hybrid drive.
If anyone wrecks or totals or knows where a totaled hybrid drive and battery is... I would be all over it. I know there is more power in that drive line. I know that Toyota cut back on what that trans will throw down. I know that with a code re-write you could improve percentage of power on take-off. Improve throttle response.

I don't have the specific details, one of my car buddy was just telling me. Google and search the Prius's forum is my suggestion to you.
It makes common sense, if you crank up the electrical side of the powertrain and completely ignore the gas saving benefit, I am sure you can gain a huge amount of power.

I would love to get more power from my GSh too.. but sadly it is pretty much impossible without a software change. The hybrid ecu monitors torque output to the tailshaft and I would bet money it won't put down more than you should be able to get with a stock setup. It would be nice if it would let you put down all 250 Kw at low speed though. The car is plenty fast but it could always be a little bit faster.
The real trick would be to figure out a way to put the AWD from the 350 on it!

You would have to increase the battery size and output, the inverter output, reprog the entire system. Then beef up the cooling system.
Much easier to lighten up the car the HSD is in.

You could install a Tom's supercharger, but I don't think it's available anymore for the GS450h. NOS could be another option, although I don't know of anyone who has tried that.

And an interesting thing i found is that the ECU treats the hybrid as a turbo, when it uses hybrid+engine it shows boost on vacuum sensor, i thought that was a neat trick.
