The only thing you may need to be concerned about is the age of the tire on the spare. If it hasn't been rotated into use with the other four tires (it really should be), then it may be as old as the vehicle, and suitable for temporary use only.
I'm in this situation right now, as the spare on mine is the origiinal on my 2006 400h, and the original owner never included it in the rotation. I put four new tires on in the spring, and discovered that the spare was made in 2004 (my 400h went on the road in early 2005). That's too old for permanent use, but OK for temporary use.
Next time I need new tires, I'll buy five and then start including the spare in my regular rotation schedule.
