Power washing engine compartment?

Okay do do this? Any hybrid related items make this a no-no? Dealer used a bunch of oil dressing to make it look pretty but it just attracts dust now.

take a wet towel and wipe the engive covers and pieces but power wash your looking for trouble since the power inverter is in the engine bay!
