Engine bay without engine cleaning suggestions
I took out the engine for the swap and there are a lot of grime/oil on the subframe/ steering rack area.
I think the only way to get those off is to get a power washer just like from the carwash.. I can borrow my uncle's power washer no problem.
Any suggestions of what type of cleaner i should spray to penetrate into those grime so they will be easily removed by using power washer?

Hoy pinoy, I sprayed it with Gunk degreaser and power washed it. Followed by Purple Power with left residue on the paint of my engine bay which is black.. I think it can be removed if I wipe it off with Armor all.
Gunk degreaser and power wash did it.. just wanted to try Power Purple.

I should have put in a word of caution with Purple Power, it's fairly strong that you have to work in small sections and flush well with water. The reaction you had is similar to using simple green.

Purple power i used to use to clean up some things and grime in the past but never used it in a pressure washer
not sure if simple green would be good might have somehting in it that is why no one here mentioned it
but simple green works awesome when i would go in by hand and detail my engine compartment without a pressure washer
