GS450h suspension
I'm looking to put a staggered set of rims on my GS450h (20 x 10's in the rear and 20 x 8.5's in the front).
I'm also considering lowering the GS by about 1.5"-2". Since the GS450h has an adaptive/adjustable suspension, will there be any issues with lowering the vehicle? If so, I won't risk it. I know alot of people lower GS's, but the 450h has a few more bells and whistles that could probably complicate matters a bit. I just wanted to see if anyone has any experience with lowering a 450h and if so, what the outcome was.
Thanks.
Ricky

Welcome, I moved it to the hybrid section and you may want to read around there are some modded and lowered GSh's around.
AVS changes the shocks so once you don't touch those the system will work with new springs but not sure if they change will be as noticeable.

problem (not really actually) is if you go with coilovers - if you install coilovers, you lose the AVS functionality. but on the flip side, you probably will get better handling/ride with coilovers so AVS would be moot.
if you have APSSS (adaptive power suspension stabilizer system), that's just electronic sways and has nothing to do with lowering suspension, so no problem there.
with the drop that you are looking for, the tanabe df210 springs (or equivalent) would be the one you want.
