whats your mpg on RX450h?
On my 2013 RX 450h, I typically get about 28-29 mpg. Last week when I was in Yellowstone and Grand Teton National parks, where top speed limit is 45mph in most places, I got above 33 mpg.
I am not sure there is a correlation, but a few months ago after the dealer overinflated my tires during maintenance, the results were more in the 27-28 range. Apparently they are overinflating to keep the low tire pressure alerts from triggering. But 5 pounds overinflated seems a bit much to me.

My Kalamazoo dealer (a local Toyota - because I thought it was easier than driving 1.5 hours to Lansing or Grand Rapids) ignored the "INFLATE TO 60 PSI" predominantly displayed on the spare tire at my last unfortunate visit. I measured 43 PSI when I checked their substandard work.
Unfortunately, even after I told the writer TWICE to ensure that the mechanic didn't lift up the car by the plastic rocker covers - they damaged BOTH sides.
The service manager agreed to replace them (I've already had the right one replaced by a Toyota dealer in Florida - at a cost of $450 for the parts) -- so they scheduled me in a week later (last week) for the replacement.
After 1.5 hours, they sheepishly told me that they ordered the wrong parts - and that they'd call me on Tuesday after Labor Day to reschedule the replacement.
So much for the time and mileage I thought I'd save by getting an oil change and tire rotation at Toyota instead of Lexus.
I'm getting about the same mileage on my 13 RXh as you (in summer with the A/C judiciously operated) -- 28.4 MPG for the month of August thus far. I stopped recording mileage at 50K miles at 27.4 MPG - since I determined that the onboard computer reports were within decimal dust of what I had calculated cumulatively (so I merely rely on the onboard computer's reports -- and reset once every month).
We have done this on occasion but we touched 41mpg, it is rare but does happen. Normally in summer it is a very consistent 37ish mpg. In Southern Ontario winters it is a range between 31-35mpg. We are pretty happy with this vehicle. I do want to say that I generally do not trust on board calcs, which is where these numbers are from. Since it is my wife's vehicle i can't keep track of the fills up and kms to get a true calculation.
I rarely drive my wife's 2015 450h, but got in a a couple days ago, and it is showing 34.7. This is mainly all in our small town and she has a light foot, unlike myself that has to put it in sport mode. Otherwise it feels like a dog to me. Amazing the extra poop it has taking off in sport mode.
My numbers listed in the earlier post are settled numbers.
After two fill-ups, the original sticker's MPGs of 29 combined, 30 city & 28 Highway is no where to be experienced. With regular gasoline & set under ECO mode, I'm only averaging 25.6 MPG with our 2015 RX 450h which I purchased two-months ago with 30,000 previously used mileage. I'm now resigned to accept these numbers & will now stop comparing it with my 2010 PRIUS 3's MPG of 46 - 50 MPG's.
Ah, I remember one quiet night after filling up at a station at the top of a small hill, other than engine start and a quick stop, I made it home almost completely on electric drive over about 2km distance. It required a bit of crawling, but traffic was non-existent and I really wanted to see the best number I could get. The result 2.3L/100km (about 100mpg). Yes, those numbers settled substantially less impressive.

my mpg is about the same as yours. I also have a 2015 450h. I'm very happy with that mpg city considering how large this vehicle is. Check out other SUV's. You will see their mpg is absolutely horrid. Your looking at 12--15 in city. Only time my 450h got bad numbers was when I tried a tank of higher octane. My mpg city went down to high teens and 21 mpg. That lasted about half a summer. No matter what I did--even back to regular gas---mpg stayed low. My guess is the computer has to adjust. Just takes it's time doing so. I'm thinking you filled it up with hightest and your numbers dropped. If so you will see it improve in two-- three months. I know it sound weird-- but that's what mine did. Overall I love this car. Nothing on the road even comes close.

Hey Club Lexus,
We just picked up our 1st Lexus, a sweet 2014 RX450h with 37k miles. We are still getting use to it. Was wondering what mileage you all get per tank full? My wife drives aprox 50-70 miles/day but a slow 50mph average on a two lane road around the lake. Sometimes slower depending on traffic. Then 2miles from work traffic stops and crawls. We absolutely love this RX!

there is no "audit" on that website. We have to be like the Olympics judges where you throw out the highest and lowest scores and award the medals based on the middle scores..........
I had a 2010 RX450h and would always average around 26-28mpg, around 350miles. Mostly driving in the city, a few long distance road trips. It takes a bit of time to get used to the car, and you'll learn in time to let go of the pedal as you approach a red light, or as you approach a highway exit. I loved my car, but it flooded, so getting a new one soon.
