Default Have my 2015 RX 450h since 9 months

During the last 8 months, I got an average of 34mpg as indicated on the inboard computer; Mostly city and countryside usage, made 4 longer road trips(around 1000kms each); I am a very conservative driver, and rarely do I go over the speed limit in any situation; After a few weeks, I've learned to understand to manage with the algorithm ICE/hybrid battery to get the maximum efficiency energy/eco output. The car sleeps in the 2nd basement of the building where I live, pampered. I like the hybrid experience, it is part of the pleasure of driving knowing the CO2 emissions are reduced. Thanks for your attention.

What were the indications for refurbishing your hybrid batteries? What was your mileage before the refurbishment? Congrats on the mileage bump. Thanks for posting.

Please share [if possible start a new thread] on how/where you sourced the replacement cells [Per Club Lexus rules, you cant be seller of the cells]. Steps and techniques you followed would be appreciated.

I've had mine for a week now, and I'm getting 29.8 mpg with a mix of driving. I'm pretty happy with that considering we've had daily frosts so I'm having to defrost the car in the morning. I expect that to rise in warmer weather.

Default Mileage-2011 RX450H

I just purchased from a private seller, a 2011 with 140,000 miles. I use the cruise control constantly on surface streets and also the highway. Again, setting the control on 40 miles per hour I get an indicated 60 miles per. At 65 miles per hour on the the freeway, I'm getting 40miles per. My recommendation is to use your cruise control because this car is so torquey both, off the line and rolling, it's easy to speed and use fuel. I replaced my 2001 RX that served me well. I wished to try a hybrid without breaking the bank. Also, I like doing DIY. Thanx and have a great day...

On highway when reaching the max your speed try gliding (I.e., coarsing) without applying the gas more (monitor your hybrid engine engaged on your small screen on the top of the dashboard screen. Also shift your Navigation screen on the right to fuel economy display, both allowing you to ride more using your synergy hybrid drive. When in the city or stop and go traffic you’ll notice following with both displays mentioned above how and when to engage more of your hybrid engine. Once you gain experience monitoring your drive closely you’ll find your way to drive more your hybrid engine and decrease your fuel consumption.

2011 (third gen hybrid rated the best along w/ 4th gen before shifting to less satisfactory 2.5L 4-cyl hybrid engines of late) - RX459h AWD - 29/30 mpg.
