Differences between RX400h models
Hello all!
I'm a newbie on this Forum. I just registered.
I'm living in Norway, and looking for a newer used Lexus RX400h.
Can anybody let me the visual differences between 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009 models?
Right now, I'm looking around on the Net, especially in Germany.

Hey, welcome to Club Lexus.
I dont know the difference from the 06 to 07 but on the 08 they changed the door stills to blue. The 08-09 emblems are different. The new emblems look like the ones on the GS and LS hybrid. Im sure someone with a 06 can elaborate. Be aware the specs we get in the US may be different from the European one.

06 RXh's had a regular steering wheel and aluminum interior trim
07 Rxh's upgraded to wood steering wheel and wood interior trim
08 Rxh's added "hybrid" lettering on the exterior rear doors, blue "L" badging, and chrome door handles (maybe 07)
please correct me if i'm wrong anyone!

It really depends on what country you are in to what you get.
In Canada 2008 hybrids DON'T come in wood trim.
I am sure if you are buying from Germany, you would want to contact someone (like a dealership) in Germany to get the best information.

The 2006 model did NOT have the tire pressure monitoring system, which the 2007 and later did.
The 2006 model had the Gen 4 nav system, 2007 & later has Gen 5 nav (better resolution -- '06=256 colors vs '07=32,000 colors).
Other than some trim/emblem items, the RX400h is basically the same from 2006-2008 (same engine/trans/suspension).
There is no 2009 model year RX400h, even though the latest produced 2008 models would normally be considered a 2009 model year.
The 2010 RX450h is due sometime this summer, from what I've heard.
