Default TTE exhaust -Installed

Hi folks,

After more than 13 weeks of waiting I finally received the last remaining parts of my latest set of mods: TTE exhaust and TTE rear skirt http://www.tte.de/cm_lexus_GS300_430_S19.htm
TTE, for these that do not know is the European equivalent of TRD, they are the one that run the Toyota Formula 1 car, so I guess they know a thing or two about performance.

Update on page 2

Here are some pics of the installed exhaust:

Click any pictures for a larger version

I really wanted to go for the quad pipe exhaust look and I really like the way the rear skirt looked with the TTE kit, and the fact that it is backed by Toyota warranty is not a bad thing at all.
The exhaust tone is very soft and subtle in the low to mid end and got more growl in the top end, it has a definitely more aggressive sound than the stock while staying within the boundaries of what a Lexus should sound like (no droning, no obnoxiously loud “fart can”, etc). I will try to find a way to capture a sound sample, but you can’t rev up the hybrid in neutral: nothing happened when you press the accelerator…)

On the down side, the muffler are really big and are sticking out big time, I guess I will be painting them black and will be added a set of Fabulous side canard to try to hide them a bit. Also the pipes themselves could have been a tad bigger.

Overall I’m very happy with my latest mod, now people now I mean bizness !

is that a whole rear bumper replacement? looks like it is

I saw this long time ago and thought the pipes are way too small, wish they were more like AMG like

but you have one of the nicest hybrid out there, good job

Don't cover those tips! They look great. I tend to look immediately at the pipes on any nice car in front of me... just before I pass them!

It is not a full bumper, just a skirt, you need to cut some material out of the OEM bumper and add the skirt in place of the lower part or the bumper.

not only is it a beautiful exhaust it is also rare as hell. Great mod. I do wish the tips looked a little larger as well. It looks stock. The only people who will notice are probably going to be other GS drivers. Very clean and very rare. Thats the kind of mod that would put you a little closer to winning a car show if there is a close tie. Rare is cool

looks nice...I would have gotten a quad exhaust if I got the GS450h or GS460...but I would have gotten the exhaust from Artisan Spirit though and the body kit...haha!
