Hey everyone. Just letting everyone know im new to this site and I wanted to thank everyone for all the posts! I learned a whole lot about my cars problems from everyone and I wanted to thank all of you..Now..
I took my car for service today and I saw a 600H there..The headlights are cool but they look like some aftermarket alteezas some 18 year old would put on his civic..Anyhow. I was curious to find out the price and if they would fit on my Ls460.. They told me all bolt on parts are the same so they would fit if the harness was the same..They didnt know..But the price made me **** myself..5000$ EACH! WTF! Thats crazy!

Anyways I also got the keycard and they programmed it for my car for 15 bucks. 404$ for the card itself..But I love it..Worth every penny!

 

$10k for a pair of LED headlights. That's almost as much as what my car is worth

 

well its obviously inflated to prevent people from switching, to keep it more exclusive to the hybrid.

 

Yes he also said check back soon and expect a price drop because its such a new part..Either way its crazy. Im starting to think the 105 base price isnt cause of the engine..its cause of the headlights lol

 

So the LED headlights is one of the main reasons the 600hL is so much more than th 460L eh ?

I actually just asked at a dealer this past weekend, they said they are not sure about the price of the LED headlights, but estimated they would be "in the $thousands" . . .

What I likes most about the car besides the awd is the wheels..The 19s look much better.

 

5000 bucks each? i think the dealership were pulling a big one on you. i won't say much, but what i was told was a lot less (and more reasonable for that matter)

5,000.00 seems like a lot but,

I was in an accident a month ago and the driver's side light assembly had to be replaced. It cost $1,850.00 plus labor. I amost fell off my chair.

I have the LS460L and they repainted the driver's side door, fixed the light and replaced something or other and cost me $6,800.00 plus.

 

Wow that's pretty expensive indeed....hopefully your car is back to normal though.

 

ERrr, NO RETROFIT!! lol
