I agree. Split the 300 and 330 since all the other forums have a G1 and G2 section and so forth. Keep teh RX400H with the 330, unless they make a separate forums specifically for hybrids. Then all the hybrid owners can talk about batteries and all the other specifica hybrid functins where we would have no idea what they are talking about

Default RX400H Option Codes

Does anyone have a list of the RX400H option codes? I know there isn't many, but I was shocked when I picked up my GS430 to find out the Park Assist wasn't standard. I don't want to have that kind of issue with the RX.

Some reviews say Park Assist is standard. I should know for sure on Monday.

Good find... Nice pics and videos there.

Alas, the interior just looks a bit plain and less inviting without the wood trim than the RX330.

Default Vent Below Seat

Notice the vent below the seat, I'd guess that might be for ventilating the battery.

HS heated front seats $540
EY Rear Seat Entertainment System $1,840
ML Mark Levinson Audio System $980

In our region the normal car is optioned with heated seats and stickers at $49,725. I listened to the Mark Levinson audio today while out driving the RX400h and it was not as big an improvement as it is in the GS series IMO. The rear seat audio system has a fairly small screen by todays standards yet it is able to play on the front screen while parked which could be a plus if the family had to wait for sometime in the car. I really liked the pull at 50MPH to 70MPH which seemed effortless.

I had the good fortune of driving a 400h today for about 3 miles. The acceleration is terrific; especially between 30 and 60! That's where the 300 and 330 had acceleration needing improvement. I did find that you had to press a little harder on the brakes. The steering is tighter than the 330 but looser than my '99RX. The wheels look terrific! I did love the car.

the RX is really nice, but its so darn expensive! 50k well i guess its a price to pay for better fuel and all the other nifty stuff it has, still wish the RX models (330&400) has a color choice of red exterior though, the colors are to ordinary in my opinion

I heard the RSES was impossible to get for a while. Is that rumor true or false?

Thanks,

We are excited to find our car is en route! All the paper work is done and now just waiting its arrival. I took a test drive Tuesday in the dealership's demo RX400h and it is awsome but the Power display is dangerous. I am suggesting new owners to 'ride' for a while to get over the fascination with the 'dynamic' display which really is neat. Otherwise, if you haven't gotten over it and are driving, you're gonna rear-end someone while you were observing the 'battery recharge' cycle or some other such change in the display. We were #19 on the list but because of color choice (Bamboo) got moved up into the first round delivery! We're excited!
