Most dealerships will not honor a sale to someone who "sold" their place in line. Also, like LexusLover said, most dealerships won't be selling over sticker, so no one will buy a car from a private party just to pay double tax.

Here's an idea:
Why don't you just do the right thing and remove your name from the list so real buyers can get a car sooner? Good karma will return to you twicefold.....

Ha ha well said, Liz.
I hate it when someone hogs a slot just to artificially inflate the prices and make a profit. If you get a slot, buy the car and enjoy it!

I got this from another forum
For the record: I currently drive a FX35 AWD and am taking delivery of my silver RX400h on April 25 at Tustin Lexus in Tustin, Ca. I am paying sticker, which at this point they tell me will be between $48-$49k. I confidently invite anyone to offer their alternative for carrying 4 people in comfort, with AWD, every known option, and returning low to mid 30mpgs and acceleration times in the 0-60 in 7 second range. Not to mention the warranty.

Again--This vehicle offers power on par with the BMW X5 V8
and gets the mileage of an Accord 4 cyl. What is there to argue. If you are just waving your flag and dislike it because it didn't come out of UAW factory in backwater USA, think of it this way: If every car/suv used 30-50% less fuel, (without a performance penalty) think about how little we would have to care or deal with any countries in the middle east. .

It looks like the rear wing/spoiler already comes painted body color, ......saves an extra modification.

Freedom of commerce. I believe it is the buyers business who the car will end up with. Just my 2 cents.

Mine is coming with Navigiation and heated seats, no rear entertainment system

This is what the dealer has told me, but I don't mind waiting an extra couple of weeks. Rockville do you know if Rear Entertainment System won't be available in the beginning on the east coast?

The heated seat as the option seems the most common version available at the begining. Too bad the seats do not cool as in other lexi. Is the ML option rare for non on the RX400h?

Default RX400H Latest Information

Hey Everybody,

Allocation will lock on Friday, April 1st for the first group of hybrids. If you are on a waiting list, I strongly urge you to contact your salesperson to confirm your order! Color selection has been going on for the past week.

If you live on the west coast, we are getting 2 packages:
RSES - $52,545
No RSES - $50,705

About 80% are non RSES and 20% are RSES.

Colors are the same as what we have now on the current RX330. The 2 colors they aren't making: Breakwater Blue (light blue) and Black Forest (dark green).

Launch date is still set for April 15.

As always, please pm me with questions you don't want the whole world to read.

Thanks for the new info, Liz. The premium sounds unreasonable considering it's AWD and gonna have most optional equipment included.

And I thought tree huggers love "green" cars?

you mean reasonable?

I think it is reasonable that 400H is better equiped, gets double mpg and is faster than: FX45 (mandatory packages make it more expensive), X5 4.4i (base version - no nav, no prem audio) SRX V8 base!!!
