Default Transmission Fluid drain/refill DIY

I was looking for a DIY but could not find one here or on Youtube. I understand I need to use ATF WS fluid. Are the drain and fill plug washers the same as with the oil pan? Can I do this with the front of the car lifted only, i.e. not 100% level? Last tranny fluid change on my car was with 125k miles and it is now at 200k so I think I should do it. Comments?

Plug washers are not the same as oil drain.

All drain/fill washers are the same part, 90430-18008

Car needs to be level, how often to change is up to you. On my Highlander I've done it every 60,000 miles probably overkill but the car will easily pass 300,000 miles with zero issues.

If you sincerely think your 300,000 mile belief is true, how do you explain your 60,000 mile actions? 🤔

Speak for yourself!

I just use the same genuine part from the dealer for ecvt drain and fill plugs, and engine oil drain (and fitted a Fumoto to the engine oil).

I was replying to the OP who was asking if the transmission plug washers the same as the engine oil plug washer. They are not, here is the one for the engine drain plug:

I don't understand what you're trying to say.

If you think the ecvt fluid is fine for high mileage, why did you change it at low mileage? ☺️

So what's the correct PN for the gaskets if doing a transmission fluid change? 2x of 90430-18008 or 90430-A0003 as mentioned in some youtube videos I've seen?

How about the engine oil plug gasket? It's the 1x of the blue ones that @NdYAG posted? What's the PN for that?

I think if doing the inverter/engine coolant change, then 1x of 90430-18008 is the correct one as well?

90430-18008 is the part number I got from Amayama.com. There may be multiple part numbers for the same part.

It was the correct washer for the ecvt drain and fill on my 2016 Es300h ☺️
