Main fuse box under hood - 2012 Rx450h
No fuse in "A" - fine, it's supposed to be empty.
Missing a fuse in "C" - my friend says it powers running lights and taillights if you're towing a trailer/boat/etc.
Missing a fuse in "B" -- Says FILTER. WHAT IS IT SUPPOSED TO POWER ?
The wiring diagram shows empty spaces, those fuse cavities must be for other markets/countries. The same fuse box lid is used for multiple markets.
Looks like there are no contacts in the fuse box for the right side of the fuses, that is an indication those fuse cavities are not used.
Instead of tooling a new part, manufacturers tend to re-use a cross use parts. Engineering is the science of coming up with most economical way to produce an intended product.
What should this "missing" fuse power ?
