Default Repeated problem with 2008 RX400h

hi recently my Lexus for the second time has done this where three lights pop up. Check AWD System, Check Hybrid System, and Check VSC System. It won’t lets me accelerate correctly and it starts with like a weird engine feeling sort of choppy and you can feel the car shaking a bit. The first time this happened it did all these things again and also shut down at a stop light and I had to start it all over again and it wouldn’t stop trying to turn off. Does anyone have any suggestions? Ballpark numbers of how much it might cost to fix these problems?

Default My experience

I had the various lights come up but everything was working. I changed the starter battery and over the next few days everything went back to normal.
My battery was about 4/5 hrs old and not otherwise playing up but with others saying the battery demise can cause warning lights etc. I renewed it.
not saying this will be your issue but if you check the date code on the battery you might think it might be worth changing.
i had checked everything else, inverter coolant pump ok etc so was a reasonable cost v guess.
certainly £200 for a garage just to plug it in was avoided.

Agreed. Checking the 12V battery would be where I'd start.

you need to get a capable scanner (not the basic obd2) like the Autel MaxiAP which is really cheap and scan for codes, no need to guess on what's going on.
