Looking at an RX350h Premium+. A couple of questions.
POWER REAR DOOR WITH KICK SENSOR
1. One of the options is "POWER REAR DOOR WITH KICK SENSOR". Do I have to get this option to have power lift on the rear hatch? Is it manual lift/shut without it? Don't need the "kick sensor" but do want a power lift on the rear hatch. Preferably that can be opened with the key fob.

2. Is there any difference in sound deadening/insulation between the Premium+ and the Luxury trim?

3. Do the seat bottoms get more comfortable after breaking in for a while? They seemed a little stiff.

4. Is "Cloud Burst Gray" the dark gray (not black) color?

some answers...

1. Pretty sure you can get Power Rear Hatch without the Kick Sensor. I have the Kick Sensor and it works very well. It's a lot better than the 4th Gen RX hand hover over the "L" system.
2. Not sure.
3. The front seats are pretty comfortable but the Luxury seats are different than the Prem+. They have extra adjustments. The wife drives the car most often so not sure if they did any "breaking in".
4. Not sure. Don't remember that color option. Thought the dark grey was called Nebula.

 

1. I also agree with FlopTop04 that you can get the rear power hatch without the kick sensor. In Canada, all the 350h's come standard with power rear lift gate and the upper trims have the kick sensor.
4. Nebula grey was only available for 2023 model; 2024 was recently replaced with the Cloudburst grey. I think Nebula grey didn't have the paint surcharge.
