Default Updates on the RX450h+?

Has anyone seen updates as to when the 450h+ would actually be coming out, maybe 2024? After Lexus announced the new RX line, it seems this model has all but disappeared, not even mentioned on their website, including future vehicles.

It's showing the 450h+ on the pressroom site, however all the drop downs only refer to the 350 & 500, no further mention of the 450h+. It does state on the picture it is a 2023 450h+ so if that is true they only have a few months left before the 24's start rolling out.

I doubt there will be any more hybrids for the 2023 MY. Heck, 3+ months in since I left a deposit for a 350h I do not even have an ETA. And neither does the dealer.

someone on clublexus posted this image. Don't remember where sorry. And I don't know whether it's accurate.

I think they’re doing limited launch in Europe. Seen some rx450+ owners taking delivery on one of the Facebook group. My best guess is that they’re launching this fall for US.

I am not sure I will ever be ready to buy a plug in. I am so thrilled with the performance and milage of my 350h which seems to be a great compromise. I know the government is trying to force everyone to electric but we do not have the infrastructure or the money to develop one. I just do not see the government’s dream happening.

I see that you can now "build" the 450h+ on the Lexus site. Not seeing where you can add the Mark Levinson audio system at this point in time.

My local dealer in Southern California provided me with the attached price quote for a 2024 450h+. The car is already built and scheduled to be delivered to the dealer by 9/25.

Default Thoughts/predictions on 2024 RX450h+

Hi all,

We are looking to purchase a RX450h+ in the March 2024 timeframe in SoCal area. At this time it sounds like dealers are getting 2-3 each towards the end of Sept and most are getting marked up $5k. Any guesses as to what the prices and inventory will be in 6 months? Should I put a deposit down now or wait until we are closer?

Thanks!

Default RX 450h+ Prices

I was not surprised when I saw that Beverly Hills Lexus was charging $10k over MSRP when the 450h+ first appeared on their site. They had 6 available then, none on the lot. Last week they had 2 for $5k over MSRP. Today they have 8 listed with 2 at $3,545 under MSRP, the rest still at $10k over. I just don’t think any RX is worth $85k or $80k even. I think Lexus overpriced these cars out the gate and the dealers are still greedy. I was an early buyer of the RX 350h (love the car by the way) and I have driven a Lexus RX for 15+ years now and Toyotas for 15 years before that. So I am not in the market for a 350h, but I have been disappointed with the 350h prices and lack of inventory. I would have traded my 350h in for the 450h+, but the prices have made me think twice about giving Toyota/Lexus my hard earned cash. If the 450h+ was out earlier this year I would have seriously considered it, but not now and not at $10k over MSRP. I hope the market will finally kick in and say enough is enough.

I bought my 350h in Jun at MSRP. When you do the math 450h for $10,000 more does not add up unless you are just in love with plugin stuff.
BTW, I am not talking about the $10,000 dealer adjustment. The $10,000 more as MSRP on a 450h+ compare to the 350h.

I think anyone looking at this website would question the validity of what this dealership is posting. Makes absolutely no sense that what is basically the same vehicle has either a discount of 3.5k or a markup of 10k.

I was originally was going to wait for the 450h+ and we needed a new vehicle sooner. Was able to get a 350h at mrsp and glad we did. Once I saw the price of the 450h+, I knew the 350h was a better value.
