In the U.S. the update is approximately $300 plus installation by a Lexus Dealer. Your car may have other maps installed, look for the map regions in the main menu under setup. A Lexus dealer can help. Good Luck!

I have a JDM model, installed a Grom with the LEX6RT cable, and I was not happy with the result. My car has a front camera and the Grom interfered with the function.
I'm happy now just with a Bluetooth audio connection to my iPhone and mounting the phone near the radio buttons with a wireless (magnetic) charger.
did you try it? The replacement screens sold on Aliexpress? If so, I would love if you could post a few photos of the results.

It's an interesting photo. Seems to be a N America spec car (LHD) but the stereo includes a Sony Minidisc player - an option I didn't think was sold in the USA.
i have a feeling these android things might be best suited in a lower-spec American model, where there originally no screen at all and just a little storage panel in the center there.

I checked with the seller. They told me they will keep the stock amp and control. so the magic is the android monitor which can integrate to the existing system, However, the monitor will be not able to fold down.
yes. it does have the air filter control. the hdd music ripping setting as there is a HDD inside. but i dont bother to find the cd as i dont listen to cd or dvd for long. the front camera is also useful when parking or need to verify in close range.
I've just bought a similar android unit to install in my Son's HS250H. I'm confused by the connections on the wiring harness though - the one that carries the canbus information doesn't quite match the rear of the factory stereo. Is there any chance you can pass on the contact information of the person who did the installation for your unit? How does it interface with the climate control? Does the "joystick" that sits between the front seats operate the new screen? Many thanks
Here’s the female end, you can see the male end in the background. I won’t actually have access to my Son’s car until 24 December so I can check fitment directly, but from what I can find on the internet the pins on the back of the factory unit are a little different.
