Default 2011 HS 250h Accelleration after braking - PROBLEM

I bought the car used from the lexus dealership about a year and a half ago, and ever since it has slipped when braking. Let me explain - Occasionally after I brake - and if i hit a pot hole/bump or a slick spot the car will briefly accelerate. Is this a common problem and is there a recall for it that maybe I dont know about ?

Yeah others have noticed it too - like the brakes "give" a little when you hit a bump while braking. It's not an acceleration as much as it stops decelerating. No recall that I'm aware of. You get used to it (or at least I did). For me it only happens when braking lightly (like rolling up to a red light), so it's never been a safety issue for me.

This is common in almost all Toyota hybrids. It's commonly discussed. Some people insist that people are imagining it, others say it's not a big deal. Others still think they're going to die one day.

It has something to do with the regenerative braking, reducing speed, and hitting that bump all at the same time.

The easiest solution is to just expect it. It's not likely that it's going to lead to an unsafe situation. I have a friend that rides everywhere in "B" mode in his prius to avoid the "lunging" (massive waste of gas on his part).

No way! I have seen one, MAYBE two HS250H's in the area.

One was when I was working at Rich Products. I left a spot at work, and the guy that pulled into that spot was driving one - same color.

The other time was on Delaware Rd. in Kenmore. Not sure if it was the same guy.

if you see a silver one driving around town that's me. I live in the north Buffalo area. I use to work in Amherst off north forest and someone who worked nearby had the exact same model/color as me.

I'm silver too! I'm in Kenmore, so if you ever see one of the other silver HS250h's around and I'm waving like a crazy *******, then you'll see that it's me.
