Default Engine "harshness" compared to Camry

I am looking to test drive one tonight. Has anyone here driven the Camry version? Is the engine sound like the Camry's? My brother has one that I rode in and the deceleration sound is like a loud differential whine. I think I can live with that....

Default Whining Noise

Mine has the electric motor whining noise you noticed in the Camry Hybrid. Before I bought my used HS250h a couple of months ago, I tested a new 2013 Camry Hybrid and it had the noise but it was a little quieter than my Lexus. I also tested another HS250 at a dealer and it had the noise. I think the newer generation powertrain is quieter as in the ES300h and the 2012+ Camry Hybrid. When the ICE cuts out and you are rolling to a stop you can hear any mechanical noises because the rest of the car is so quiet. Its not a big deal, just part of the hybrid drivetrain.
