HS 250H Hole & Wires in Trunk on left side
I have a 2011 HS 250H. Can someone tell me what the hole on the left side of the trunk is? It is about 3 inches in diameter and has a plastic cover. When I open the cover I see a white/black plastic object and some wires.
Can anyone tell me what it is/what it's used for?

I think what you have is the emergency gas filler door release. I'll check tonight.
But if I'm right, you reach in there and pull, and it should open the filler door in case the electric opener breaks.
