Vinyl Wrapped Roof
Thinking about vinyl wrapping the roof to gloss black and was wondering if anyone had done it yet and has pics. If not, will have my buddy photoshop it for me before actually doing.
Thanks,
Ryan

I have always thought a black car with a first class black vinyl roof (with stitching) is just beautiful. In fact I have a black HS and your thread made me think that perhaps that may be a good mod. There was a time back in the 70's that vinyl roofs were very popular, not so much now. I have been considering buying a classic black 52 Plymouth Belvedere - it would look like one of the old gangster cars. Post some pics if you get it done. I'd love to see an HS covered with one.

We're talking about different vinyl. I'm referring to a sticker basically and you're referring to a real vinyl roof. That'd be a lot more work.
My buddy said he'd wrap my roof for $200 so may consider it once wheels are on

Looks nice, I wonder if this car is wrapped or painted?

There are plenty of brands besides 3M that are less expensive and equal/or superior of a product. Wrapping a car does not have negative side effects if done the right way and actually can work as protection of the original paint from the sun and rock chips.
