Default XM Traffic Canada

Finally, just today, XM Traffic started colour coding the major routes around greater Vancouver ... green for good traffic flow ... red for congestion etc. Whoo Hoo! Only took 5 years. Also icident reporting (stalls, accidents, construction etc) seems more robust.

Hope it's better where you are then in New York. I had it for 3 months when I got my car and it was horrible. Missing most roads and was wrong at least 50% of the time. Can't base route recalculation if the traffic info is so inaccurate.

I just have my wife check on Google Maps on her iphone. It's so much more accurate and has almost every road covered in the city.

I think they're still testing it as its been off and on every other day. Today it was up all day and from the roads I travelled - it was pretty accurate.
