HID conversion
I dont understand the big fuss... the HS already comes with a projector style headlight.. theres really nothing thats "adjustable" or need retro-fit.. I have hid in my HS and I think they look perfectly fine.. If anything,, its always these ppl with the suv and their 4 ft above the ground headlights thats blinding ppl to death..
Well finally ordered the kits and with little help from IS-Fly168, I was able to take the top plastic cover off to reach the back of the headlights. The installation was simple.
Again, parked my car in front of the garage with the garage door closed. (not so good in winter here - temp at that time was around 22F and it was difficult to do things with flashlight).
Turned on the headlight before changing, changed one, turned them one again - very minimal change in beam pattern. Changed both and tested again - no difference.
I noticed one of them was little weaker in intensity but after a ride it seemed to warm up and didn't notice any difference.
Again, I stayed with 5000k HID kit but it seems little bluer than my taste!
It was only $50 for the kit!
