Default TPMS not working

2010 HS250 with 150k miles. The TPMS has been working until a week ago. The warning light starts blinking as soon as the car is on for a minute then turns to solid. The dashboard says check tire pressure system. Tried to reset it following the manual by pressing it. It does nothing. Still drive it daily and it does not get reset. The pressure from all 4 tires read between 34-36. Any trick to fix it without bringing it to a dealer? Tires were replaced over 2 years ago and runs fine.

Your TPMS sensors are probably all dead and need to be replaced. The batteries last 8 - 11 years depending. You do not need a dealer for this. A tire store can help.
However you may only have only 1 bad sensor and could save money by just replacing that one. A tire store or good repair shop can scan each tire to identify the bad TPMS with a dead battery.

Or Costco for the best prices to replace them. Even counting the membership cost, Costco can be cheaper than a normal tire store.
Call around for quotes to replace your TPMS sensors. They do have to program them afterward, but that takes 5 minutes to perform.

A rule for thumb is if replacing tires when the car is over 8 years old that is a good time to also replace the TPMS as a preventive measure as they have to remove the tires from the wheels to replace the TPMS.

I used a OBD tool to reset the warning and 3 tires reported pressure. One sensor is dead. Just called Costco and they charge $70 for one tire, install and programing.

I am in the SF Bay Area or south bay.

I had one died after costco replaced all the tires. Went back and they checked and told me the rest pretty much were on the way out as well so I have them replaced all 4. Yeah 70 a pop sounds about right.

Mine started acting up at 150k, and so my local mechanic (aint going to a dealer!) replaced all 4 sensors for $350. It was pricey mostly due to the disassemby/reassemble of the tires and rims, as well as calibrating and reprogramming each sensor

Do you guys really replace the entire sensors, and not just the onboard batteries?

You have to replace the entire sensor. No shop will replace the batteries.
I do not think that is even possible on most sensors as they are sealed. I think very few have replaceable batteries, or if they do have them, the amount of labor involved is cost prohibitive, so that is why I think everyone just replaces them.
