Traction control
Hi there I had a tire blow out recently, and when I did I triggered a traction control warning light, I have since then changed out the tire and had it balanced, rotated, and alligned however I still have that old traction control warning light, do you know how I can get rid of it without having to go to the dealership?
3 things you can try.
It may just go away on its own in a few more drive cycles. Or
Go to a chain auto parts store such as Advance Auto, AutoZone or O'Reilly's and ask them to clear your stored codes.
Or
Disconnect the 12 volt battery for 30 minutes. It is accessed through the trunk. It is behind the rear seat on the passenger side. And hope one of them clears the code.
