Is it possible to install the dash cam on the other side of the rear view mirrow?
Yes however , you won't have a template for the passenger side. You have to eyeball it and install the 3m tape.

just installed one of the these adhesive 17mm ball mount right next to the screen. Just use any standard phone holder that accepts the standard 17mm ball.
