Hello everyone,

I am located in Toronto Canada, I have just ordered a 2024 (most likely 2025) GX550 overtrail+ from Don Valley North Lexus. Expected wait time is 1.5-2 years.

The colour I got was Earth and Black two tone and Chateau Interior. When I spoke with the sales she mentioned I was the first buyer getting the overtrail+. Most of her orders were luxury or executive and only 1 overtrail. Which I find was interesting.

Anyway just wanted to introduce myself on this part of the forum as I am not new the CL, this GX will be a replacement to the 2019 Porsche Cayenne and in addition to my current 2016 Lexus GS-F.

Welcome to the sub-forum. Wow, 1.5-2 year wait. That is incredible. Will be interesting to see if these wait times actually become a reality.

 

Yikes. Hope it’s not 1.5-2 years but months.
I can never imagine waiting that long for a vehicle.

 

Yea I am not surprised through, Toyota dealers in the Toronto area are not taking orders for Sequoia, Land Cruiser, Tacoma and Sienna at all, they won't even put you on a waitlist. I called around and the Toyota dealership in the suburbs will not sell unless you are local.

 

Toyota dealers up in Oregon have many 4Runners on their lot and are giving over $7,000 discounts on them.

 

Easy to get a 4Runner in Canada too since the current one is an ancient model

 

that’s crazy! I have my order in - in early Jan (9th) - and was quoted 6 months. I think the wait time ballooned since the reviews came out…

 

Mind PM me which dealership you ordered from?
I want to order the Premium, so wont conflict with you..may be late to the party but if I can get into one end of this year it's good for me

Did they give you a price? Checked out Overtrail+ here in Alberta it's $122K before GST.

That's what I was thinking and that's before GST and luxury tax. Build at Lexus of Edmonton. Was hoping for the Signature to come in close to the 2023 pricing...silly me!

 

I think they are messing something up. I looked in the configurator for Alberta, and the price is similar if not identical to Ontario. There’s something wrong there…..
