Here is list of known published and discovered model year changes for US Models. Let me know the ones I’ve missed or anything incorrect. This is fairly rough but I see this question asked a lot about changes between years.


2010 - First Model Year of GX 460

This is an awesome list, great job. I think for 2017 the captains chairs were standard for the luxury pkg not optional. In 2018 they changed back to be bench standard for the lux pkg.

Not sure if there are any differences but 2012 brochure lists:

* F SPORT™ APPEARANCE PACKAGE:

and 2013 is ----->

I wonder if it’s a cost saving move lol.
I like the word Lexus, it balances out the back.
regarding the Homelink, I like the buttons better on the overhead.

Just using data from brochures and I have seen a few of these examples online this is how the '10-'13 models were packaged with '14+ Driver Support Package options. The Intuitive Park Assist option in 2011 package group might be an error in brochure.

EDIT: These packages were only installed on Premium models. No base models were equipped.
EDIT2: 10-11 appears to have options on very rare base equipped modes for the first two option packages. / Graphic updated (8.10.2019)

There are option packages to get HIDs on '10-13 base models as well.
