I might see if I can see any wires/connectors this weekend... I don't want to change much up.... going to the cabin for 10 days and don't want to create any issues for myself while away.

I'm having some trouble just visualizing where this is placed without displacing the Sonar ECU for Intuitive Park Assist. I need to look back and see if this replaces it because mount point would appear to be the same.

If a kind member with the stock camera system (10-19) has their dash opened up at some point in future I would be grateful for lots of pictures of the Park Assist ECU. Pictures with glove box out would be best. I buttoned everything back up and called it a day.

Default I second the switch from the steering wheel.

So if we buy the switch from a dealer and install it we should be able to use that switch to even activate an aftermarket system if we can’t get the factory one to work with a retro fit. Btw has any one been able to successfully install this feature with the entire factory setup. Not just pieces of it.

I have tried with OEM switch route, it won’t work for several reasons. A) the switch triggers Proper ECU, not a simple trigger signal. B) there are still missing harnesses which is part of Driver Support ECU. So in order to using OEM switch for after market camera setting such as mine, it will end up with lots of work for little benefit. At the end, I used BeatSonic Toyota style switch and fit in one of empty dash switch slot, looks and function well enough.

MTS & Crawl Control:
859A1-60040
84790-60070

Front camera and side view cameras, steering wheel switch:
86790-60200
84250-60240-C0 (black, for those of you with Tan color, using E0)
Side mirror assembly with camera, That part number involves few option. In Asia both sides of mirror are curved. I am still deciding if I will using some of current components or replace only the needed parts.

Adaptive cruise control and pre-collision warning:
88210-60141
84632-08021
84633-48010
45286-60520-C0 (Black)

The most expensive part here is 88210-60141, distance radar sensor, and from what I am reading so far, no additional ECU needs to be replaced for those functions. With all of those, basically completed US version of Drive Support Package PLUS the Canadian version of Technology Package. GX Lane Departure option is utilize the side view mirrors for lane marking. The only option missing here is the auto high beam, which actually require to replace at least one major BCU which I decide to stop there. In most of driving situation I have, that is not a really useful option anyway.

I will keep everyone posted on those parts availability and how far that I can take the this project to.
did you end up doing all this like you said you were going to do?

Correct...020 for 10-13

Cheapest is from Japan and around $140 or shipped. Same MTS ECU was used in 10-13 Prados so they can sell this unit in JDM market. '14-'19 unit was not used in Prado.

Default Extra harness behind Lexus emblem

Hi. I'm sure this has been answered before but I didn't find the right thread. What is the extra wiring harness for. Front camera maybe? I have a 2015 luxury premium with parking sensors but no driver support.

It's located right above the bracket you have to remove in order to pull off the grill.

This is not the harness for front camera. This is for radar sensor, part of the adaptive cruise control component. To retrofit a front camera, using Beatsonic solution would be the best option. Here is the reference posts: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/gx-...periences.html
