A quickie write up here as I may be the only one here to do this. Almost side swiped a couple of times on the highway and the stock horn seems to get a slow reaction.
Painted black 2 Relays to wire up. Mounted behind grille and plastic and wrapped with electrical tape. Power consumption is why there are relays so direct wire to battery and add-a-fuse to horn fuse in main box for the trigger. Final coat of flat black paint for hoses.

Nice I may get me a set--how long did it take to get them set up? Is it just a hot and ground to hook up?
You have a detailed write up on these--did you disconnect your reg horns and tie into these new ones?

Very nice job . I cannot tell from the pics but I assume Tecman ran a wire from the original horns to the 2 relays.
When I installed smaller air horns on another vehicle I simply tapped into the connector on the original horns and connected a single pump feeding both horns to the wires without a relay after checking the amperage. I left the original horns in place, working.
I also wonder if he had to drill new holes or could use existing ones to secure the relays, pumps and horns.

No add-a-fuse used here because the power for the air horns is coming from the relays with a single 30 amp fuse.

Thanks, It probably took 1 1/2 to 2 hours. Most of the time was coming up with the best mounting as the compressors are supposed to be mounted with the air output up because there is oil in the compressor and the directions say to occasionally put a few drops in. The factory horns do make it louder and air horns have a slight delay for the compressor to get air through the horn so I did keep the stock horns connected.

The relays call for a 30 amp fuse (seems high to me) and I figure the manufacturer knows best about their product. I could probably get away with 1 relay but not a big deal to do it the right way. I used 1 existing hole for a pump and drilled holes for the other pump and relays, self-tapping screws for the horns.
My brother put the cheap $40 set on his girlfriends car and said it was okay sounding. When leavening our parents house on Easter Sunday I was behind them and I hit my horn for a few seconds. My brother called me later.
“I don’t scare or easily jump normally but we both sheat our pants, It was like the train is coming through you”. Ha Ha. He sent me a pic of the same horn in black he received today. Problem is he may get into trouble with this as he is an aggressive person.
Be careful if you install something like this as it may get you into a confrontation if you blast it behind someone.
The box is exact to what I received. Here is the pic from my brother. Both seem to be the same with a different box from Italy. The name is different but guessing the same product? He said he had an option to buy 2 colors (guessing chrome that I bought) flat black was $5 more.
This is way too much fun... going to get into trouble with this mod.
Is there a way to make the wiring look cleaner instead of wiring it up directly to the battery?
If I go about this, I think I would want the air horns as a secondary noise source. I’m thinking to Wire it to the blank switch above the diff lock or next to the traction control.
If anyone is looking for the black version Amazon has a few in stock for $108.88.....I'm tempted but also wondering if it would cause other accidents by freaking out drivers a few lanes over.
