Hello all,
I didn't think that I had remote start on my 2017 GX460 but after hitting the lock buttons a few times it did actually start up in my garage on its own. I bought this used a couple weeks ago with 49K miles on it. Searching online I have found conflicting information of what the "official" procedure is to use the remote start from the key fob. My unit has the heated steering wheel if that helps you determine what model my vehicle is exactly. Any information on how to correctly use the remote start would be great appreciated.

I wonder if previous owner installed something like the 12V Solutions remote start?

All Lexus docs state even short range Enform remote start shouldn’t work on ‘16-‘18 models as of this date last year October 31, 2022 when 3G service went offline.
