Ok folks, some help please. One (or both!) of the tabs on my front skid plate is bent, so it won't allow me to reinstall the plate. Attached are two pics...which one is at the proper angle? Thanks!
and actually i probably should NOT have rebot this garbage plate. i would buy a whole skid plate system for only 300 more. i would buy an ARB. this guys seems to be pretty helpful in videos.
2nd pic looks like the original bends. Those tabs are only there so the plate won't drop on you after removing the bolts. you could just chop them off without compromising the structure. I'd also agree the oem plate is very thin, any aftermarket skid plate is going to be better
I don’t think those being slightly bent like that will keep you from sticking them in the slots and swinging the plate up at the rear.
Right now, because of the two different angles they're at, I can get one side in or the other, but not both. So I need to bend one side back to its proper position.
Thanks for the replies, guys!
I just cut mine off after II installed my Ironman bumper. Later when I purchased some skid plates, I got rid of that altogether.

I cut the first bend off those tabs, so you can remove/replace much easier, so the part that bends upwards is gone, and I'm left with just a basic hook.
