Lightbulb 2nd row #seat #removal

I removed the 2nd and the third row in order to turn my GX to a camper car. It's pretty easy but do require heavy lifting (not very heavy). I read other people's threads and bought two connectors, two sets of wires, and two resistors - 2W2D2 RESISTOR 2 WATT METAL OXIDE FILM FLAMEPROOF 2.2 OHM, and then plugged into both seat connectors, but my air bag sign is still on.

Not sure if I missed anything. Anyone has the same experience?

Do you have a Techstream or something like OBD Link to pull codes to make sure it isn't anything else?

There is a post over on Mud about using the 2.2 ohm resistors. Did you double check to make sure resistors meter out correctly?

If you do go down this road you need to use 2.2 ohm resistors for the second row side airbags on the seats.

This IH8Mud member ordered the Prado trim piece needed if you delete the 3rd row seatbelt as well.

Trim piece is not apparently available in black though.

This thread may be of interest as well of 2 row 460s in other markets

Default 2nd row seat removal

Can the 2nd row seats still be removed on a 2023 Lexus GX 460. Does this interfere with air bags ?
