New to the forum, owned my GX for about a year now. Glad to have a great community resource!

Question about the medkit accessory panel in the barn door. Not the toolkit panel. Somewhere along the way I have overstuffed that compartment with my trailer hitch and some bungees and the tabs on the factory panel have weakened to the point that they are failing. A couple questions:

1. What's the right name for this compartment / part?
2. Is this a bad place to keep my trailer hitch ball?
3. Are there any aftermarket replacements / substitutions for this that would be more usable?
4. How are others using this space?

I just use my rear door storage for lightweight tool kits, first aid and some wiring harnesses for towing. I usually either have the ball mount on vehicle or not. As long as it was wrapped up well I've even stuffed things into that space that can be made between the 2nd and third row when you slide second row forward a little bit.
