Default Looking for help wiper switch

any help would be appreciated,
I have a 16 GX with premium and comfort package. The front wiper auto control setting is not working. Any ideas if there is a reset sequence?

There is no reset sequence. If you have techstream tool, you can run the diagnose on rain sensor. Is this in working condition before? Any particular events that you recall might directly or indirectly caused it malfunction?

Default Thank you

I just purchased the vehicle from a private party. Could the wrong windshield have been installed. I found a receipt for a new windshield not to long ago. I don't belive the rain sensing feature is working. Not sure how to test it.

If windshield had been replaced, make sure if the rain sensor has been properly installed, connected, you could pull down the cover and check it. Also, if the replaced windshield an OEM one or aftermarket one with proper rain sensor opening area for attached the sensor properly.

Try to just run the garden hose against it... this should trigger it to work.

Like hzhao said they may have not installed the rain sensor correctly to windshield.. there is a gel pad that is supposed to be replaced but many installers get away with reinstalling the old one.
