Angry Wiper control issue

Hello,

Need some help here, desperate...

2005 gs300, broke wiper control/Switch on column. Wipers still turned on and off. Washer button still worked and activated wipers. Replaced the arm, and now sprayer sprays, but wipers don't turn on, and wont turn on with normal on/off switch. Put old one back in to see, and that one has the same issue now as well. I cannot get the wipers to turn on at all, but the washer will spray the window. Im in oregon and it is non stop rain here. Please anyone help. I have checked the fuses and they are good.

Sounds like you checked it but I'll mention it anyway. The washer and the wiper motors each have their own fuse. The system consists of the Combination Switch (what you changed), the fuses, and then the Wiper Motor and Washer Motor. That's it. So if you already eliminated the Combination Switch and fuses you probably have a Wiper motor or wiring issue. Check the fuses again. If you did not last time be sure to unplug the vehicle battery before changing electrical components in the future.

Check the wiper motor itself. It might be bad. I had an issue with this awhile back. My intermittent wipers wouldn't work. Changed the stalk problem persisted. I swapped the motor and everything was well again.
