Hello:
I just had the windshield on my GX460 replaced. I’m finding that the windshield has been replaced before. And they replaced it with a non standard windshield and they tucked the sensor under the headliner.
we figured this out today while they were replacing my windshield.

The new windshield has the place to hook the sensor onto the windshield. The technician left me with some gel.

However, he told me I was still missing a part. It appears I need the part that the sensor sits in and connects it to the windshield.

I’m not sure what this part is called and where is the best place to purchase this item.

Any guidance is greatly appreciated.

youre looking for a rain sensor bracket, at this time I cannot find a part number.

If you are talking about the 4 little clips on the glass where you mount the rain sensor, it comes with OEM glass, it is not a separate bracket that you can buy.

the windshield has the piece with 4 hooks.

and I have the actual sensor. But the sensor sits inside of a plastic shell.

the shell is what actually hooks onto the 4 hooks on the dashboard.

I have the piece with the 4 hocks on the windshield. I have the sensor dangling from the headliner.
i need the case?? that the sensor goes in and then hooks onto the piece on the windshield.

i have highlighted what I’m needing in red.

That is what I have listed above. The picture drawing for the parts maybe a bit miss leading. You will need the adhesive tape as well.
