Default "Paper Clip" method for Zero Point

I've read through every post on MTS/CC install, and I'm about to do it myself. The only thing I cant find is more details on the paperclip method for the zero point. I see several people have done it successfully, and I've watched a few videos. The thing I'm curious about is how you do the whole "click 4 times in 8 seconds" part when using the paperclip. If you have a momentary switch, I can see how you'd be able to do that. But with a paperclip, it seems like it would be tough to insert/remove/insert 4 times in 8 seconds in those small pinholes? Is that how those of you who used that method did it? Thanks in advance!!

Not have done myself with paper clip method, but to simplify the process, you could use a wire with one end always inserted in one pin hole, and just tap the another pin hole 4 times within the 8 seconds, that should be pretty straight forward. I can see your point try to align with paper clip for two pin holes at same time within relatively short tine period is kind of tough. Another suggestion is that you can actually remove the ODB connect off the bracket to make it more accessible if that matters to you.

I should rename the process on thread... some have done with paper clip but the momentary switch does seem like it would make it a whole lot easier.

Thanks guys. In thinking about it more, I'm gonna go with just placing a wire in each port and touching them together 4 times. It should be pretty simple. Now to find a level spot with room to dive the 25mph for 10 seconds. LOL. Plan to do install this weekend. We shall see how it goes.
