Default "Key Not Detected" in 2019 GX

I've been having a strange issue with my new 2019 GX460. At random times while driving, the "Key Not Detected" warning will pop up. Each time, the vehicle is running and the key is in my pocket. I continue driving, and sometimes it goes away, and other times it stays on until I turn off the engine and restart. It never happens on initial start-up and it has not prevented me from starting the vehicle. At first I thought it was due to my wife's LS460 key being in the car, but I've eliminated that issue and still get the error. Any ideas?

This is covered in the owners manual.

googling this topic shows people replacing the key fob battery usually solves the issue. Replacing the key fob battery is also in the manual...

Thanks. None of those conditions listed above are present when I"m getting the error. I'll try the battery swap. It's a new 2019, so I figured the batteries would be in decent shape.

Good deal.
Note in the GX settings on the Nav screen, if the notification volume is down or muted you won't hear the interior buzzer... it's likely the key fob battery anyway... they could be 2 years old even with a 2019 MY. I had to replace mine last year and we have a 2017

I haven’t had a problem while driving but recently experiencing getting into the truck and pushing the start button and getting that error message so the truck would not start. With several attempts it works. I changed my batteries I think about two years ago so maybe I am due. If anyone gets into a situation where the truck will not start, just remember you can push the key fob on the start button and the RFID will get you going.
