On a trip today, 4 of us in the car for 8 hours. Random beeping of 4-5 beeps, no indicator lights on dash, happened off and on for 4 hours. Not continuous but random. It was raining hard off and on. Is not a loud as the parking sensor, nor do I get the light on the dash for this. Any ideas? Thanks.

 

No indicator light and 4 people with carry-on bags? and you never heard this type of beep before? Are you sure this beep is coming from your 460?

 

Do you have powered 3rd row? If so, make sure solidly in stowed or open position.

Never heard any beep like this before from your GX? You don’t recognize the tone or sequence of beeping?

Rear barn door or glass might not have been shut all the way from something impeding? I was driving the 4R yesterday and had a similar issue. The hatch didn’t shut all the way but it was enough to make the sensors think it was closed until I accelerated hard or went over bumps. Mine had a slight faint beep like if the battery on a device was starting to die.

 

Yep, have checked that-and nothing indicates this would generate a beep. Plus no light on dash to indicate the window or rear door is not closed.

 

when was the last time you changed the batteries in your keyfobs? is it still doing it now when you drive it after the trip (luggage and people out of the vehicle)

 

About 6 weeks ago. Plus that wouldn’t explain why it had the beep only with 4 people in the car, and since being home no random beeping at all for 5 days.

 

And it has not made the beep since people and luggage out of the vehicle.

 

You are probably going to laugh at this, but make sure the passenger's left knee isn't hitting the **** at the lower right part of the console. Seriously.
