The lights we are talking about here is not OEM lights, those are after market ones, with 2020 looks and with switch back. There is an early post with sample video clip.

where’s the proof that a new GX is coming, I’d say there’s more marketing info out there to suggest that there will be no new gen in the US.
A quick update, the headlights showed up today. Well, just as the story of my life, everything happened at wrong time, I am out of town this week. So looks like this will be a Sunday (or next Monday) project if nothing else coming to the play. Stay tuned.......
I had a lucky break and was able to back home today. So tomorrow will be the day and hopefully to complete the conversion without too much of unwanted surprises. Here are few pics of the lights:
Package looks well package, and build quality looks very good. A small patch wire harnesses are for connecting the turn signal to the switchback daytime running lights/sequential turn signal combination in the headlights. The biggest surprise is it is also equipped with auto leveling motor and control. There are many auto motive parts suppliers that making parts in China now days, Judging from the parts and fitting on those lights, I won't be surprised if those lights were build with the actual surplus parts for the OEM lights. Just my guessing. I will start a new thread tomorrow after my conversion. IF the new sequential turn signal is sufficient enough, my plan is to convert existing turn signal to corner lights, which is very popular in Europe and Asia. The basic concept is utilize a relay triggered by turn signal, and powered by headlights power, therefore, the conner light will only active when both headlights and turn signal are on. Will see how it turns out.

can you take beam shots against a wall to compare the two? I’m curious to see if the light pattern is wider.
please let us know how the headlight aiming goes. I hope they don’t cheap out on those parts.
That's my planning. I am actually just in the process to taking some photos for the current bean pattern, will compare after the conversion. Not scientific way, but at least enough for references.

I've pulled the car apart about 3 times already trying to narrow my search on the wires that require to be plugged in, in order to rid of the error message. I stopped mid track. None of the extra plugs plugged into anything in the front of the car. I was hoping to put power and ground to any of the existing wires that are just dangling but i am going to just wait it out and see if this chinese supplier's "decoder" box from the manufacturer will be the solution. The one that Zhao installed seems to be a totally different version of our chinese one as i can tell by looking at the back of his headlamp assembly. I wish i would have known in advance that there were more than 1 version of aftermarket this early in the game. Just sitting tight until some electrically genius can rewire these suckers and get this going.
