Yeah, no problem. Theres also a different headliner to support the opening of the LDA out the front of the windshield. Also the part you posted showing the LDA camera is missing the metal mounting bracket. That bracket cannot be purchased separately, Lexus only sells the bracket with the camera.

I found on one of the online parts sites. They probably figure replacement of failed unit to exclude bracket but not likely too many failed units on a rare option. If vehicle was damaged to this extent it would likely find itself again in the wrecking yard or crushed.

Does your vehicle have these "Driver Support" level functions? I know they didn't call it that but simpler to reference from the long winded packages of our generation. I thought you had a '12 like me.

Mine does not, just a lot of looking around to add the options to mine. I have a '12 with the F-Sport package, none of the F-Sport equipped pre-facelift can have driver support. The grill doesn't support the camera or the radar. I wish I held out of a driver support vehicle.

+1 . If I had to do it all over again I would have done the same.... for better or worse...I am not sure I would have found the inspiration to search out MTS... or it would have been far later.

Clearly, he is misinformed! Definitely does NOT have Driver Support.

so the pic here is CRAWL and this one is DAC
https://www.cstatic-images.com/super...9ebc0ac2c2.jpg

so the usual config is .. they put the DAC and CRAWL button to LOWER LEFT and you can get one of the two options ?

DAC is mainly for downhill...it controls wheelspin/slippage and slows you down as you come down a hill (off-roading).

CRAWL can do the same, but also works at maintaining speed (depending on setting you select), momentum, and traction going UP a hill. And it will work going down the hill too...thus, no need for dedicated DAC when you have CRAWL. In fact, CRAWL also works going backwards too.

IF you plan on off-roading, wait and get one with Driver Support. If you don’t off-road, then no need for CRAWL. BUT Driver Support also comes with other niceties that benefit on-road travel too such as pre-collision and radar cruise.

DAC is downhill fixed at around 3 MPH while you get ~1,2,3,4,5 MPH up or downhill with Crawl as it works both the brakes and accelerator. DAC just does brakes.

IIRC... the spread from High to Low on suspension is just shy of 3 inches. I believe spread to H is greater from N than spread from N to L. Remember you can add Crawl and MTS to even a base.
