My local Costco has the Cascade Mountain Tech 45QT in store for $119 and the 80QT for $199. They both seem pretty nice for the money but I still may run to the RTIC store here in town this week to see what sales they may have going on versus what they have on the website.
If Cascade had the cooler basket available for the 45QT I probably would pull the trigger on it but when I last checked they said they should get some next month at the earliest.

This is something I found that is a good starting point for coolers in general. http://www.coolersonsale.com/ultimat...lenge-results/

It cools down rather quickly. Typically 80-32* in under 30 minutes (not sure of exact time, but I just plug it in before heading out to pre-cool it before packing). It will get down to negative digits if you want to freeze stuff.
Does anyone have any experiences with these Blizzard Box?

$550 sounds like an awesome deal and it should work with the GX power plug in the trunk.

IIRC you have the Canadian market 460 with available 400W outlet in rear....my 100W outlet won’t even drive a small Alpicool C15 without using a separate 400W power station in between.. Power station will also drive my Arb 50 quart. I still need to work on more permanent power solutions offered in other threads.
i have an iceco jp30 running off the 100w in the back. the only issue is the outlet is two prong but the iceco calls for 3 prong (ground) outlet. i just use a 2 prong to 3 prong outlet adapter from amazon and forgone the ground wire and it works great. ive been using this for grocery runs for the last 6 months. gonna take a road trip in a few weeks and hopefully bring some ice cream home.
I own a Yeti, Rtic and Lifetime cooler. Bang for your buck, you can't beat the lifetime coolers. I bought them in that same order and they all compete with each other on the same level. Just at a way lower cost. All are equally tough as well. I've actually used the lifetime cooler as a jack stand before.
I'm a huge fan of Canyon Coolers. Have had two of them, and they hold ice for several days EASY. Also, they have a no questions asked LIFETIME warranty. I accidentally melted one of mine on a cargo carrier from the exhaust. Cooler was about 3 years old at the time. Canyon replaced with no questions asked! Awesome company with amazing coolers.

I've been eyeing this thing for a while thinking of getting it to use a seat for my inflatable boat too since it's light weight
