I have been using these blades since 2013 (started with the Taco) simply because of convenience. I got the wiper blades, Mobil1, and Toyota oil filter at my local Walmart. For $10-$12 each I am very happy with the result. It also looks pretty cool and last me at least 1 oil change.

Amazon also have the OEM blades with free shipping. I have tried various aftermarket blades and the OEM consistently perform the best.

Wiper insert replacement time. I hardly use the rear wiper so I only got the fronts this time around. Belle Lexus on eBay still has the pair for sale.

Does anyone know why the blades with the "L" emblem cannot be refilled? I ordered some refills but noticed that mine have the "L" emblems on them. I haven't pulled them off to look at yet though.

Unfortunately... I can't remember now...

I did have the "L" emblem for a while but cut back to the stock frames for the refills.

Same here, I have OEM wipers with the “L” and are in need of inserts. I wasn’t aware that OEM made disposable blades that didn’t accept inserts. Any info would be appreciated before I order through Belle Lexus. I do like the OEM blades over everything else I’ve tried before including Bosch Icons.

I think you can take off one of the wiper and see if it has the metal spine insert that could be removed. It it does, then it is replaceable. Those that are not usually has the whole blade molded.

My OEM wipers have a metal spine but it don’t look like it can be removed, in fact the original posting that I bought from says doesn’t accept factory inserts. I didn’t know OEM Lexus blades were sold that were fully disposable. I certainly would have looked around because I paid what the refillable ones cost.

Have you tried to replace the inserts on the L wipers yet? Mine don’t look like the inserts remove

GX460 Wiper that can be refilled:
Passenger

Driver

Rear:

GX460 Refills
Passenger

Driver
https://parts.belllexusnorthscottsda...214-68020.html
Rear
https://parts.belllexusnorthscottsda...214-42040.html

around 60 shipped for driver side, passenger side and rear, and they are refillable, cheaper than most brands so it is no brainer to go oem
all three inserts are now $8 each so $24 shipped, so 84 or 108 total, good for 1 to 2 years, maybe even longer
