My back window gets dirty pretty quick too. I put rainX on it and it helps with water run off during rains but dirt seems to stick to it much quicker.

I'm going to be looking for new wipers soon also, and usually do some research on the "best" wipers out there.
So, Acrad35751, are you saying that the stock are probably the best out there for our rigs as far as efficiency, noise and not skipping?

I'm pretty happy with them so far. They are quieter, seem to work as well or better than the Icons and seem to be smoother. My Icons got a little jerky when there wasn't as much water on windshield.

Costco is having a sale for Michelin Hybrid wipers, $6/each. I bought a pair for the Odyssey and the Pilot and they are much better than the old one that Costco sold. They are quiet and the contour cover the large windshield really well. It’s hard to find size 26” so I may get another the set as Costco may change it next year.
If you’re not using Lexus inserts and switched to aftermarket, it’s worth it to check out Costco. The price is so cheap as well.

I just put the Michelin wipers from Costco on my GX. For $12 total I am satisfied. The driver side wiper skips a tiny bit on the way back down, but so far no noise and they clean good.

For me, even a little skip, I would consider that a FAIL and would look for something else. I just think if it has a minor skip now, what about a year or so from now?
Someone on this forum stated that the best wipers he's had are actually the factory Lexus wipers! That's comparing to Bosh and others!

Yes the OEM refills are the best, that's what I'm running on my GX currently.

The previous Costco versions also skipped on my Odyssey huge windshield but this Hybrid version didn't. Not sure of the design has anything do to with it but the arm is more round and probably more aerodynamic too. So far so good.

Looking to replace the 3 wiper blades with OEM. Every site I look at says "Note: These blades will not accept factory refills". Has Lexus changed their blades to not accept refills?

I got these refills. One of the pic says if the arm has the Lexus Logo, it is not replaceable with refills. Do yours have that? What year is your GX?

Thanks bbqsoup!

2011 Premium. So mine are possibly the original equipment from Lexus?

So I bought these OEM blades and they do have that Lexus emblem on them.

Do the OEM refills you are using require retrofitting the "metal backbones" I will call it into both sides of the refill?

Unless that part isn't used on the truly stock OEM blades I can't really see how a refill couldn't work here on these ones.

I obtain similar refills for my Infiniti but I have to to move the "metal backbones" every time I swap them.

I think the refill number might have changed. I was just looking and see these:

Driver Side: 8521468020 - $5.85
Passenger Side: 852140E140 - $5.85
Same rear number above - 85214-42040 - $5.85

If they are original then those refills, fronts only or fronts and back will work.

@Acrad, I reused the 2 metals backbones and just fit them into the channels on the refills and installed back into the arm claws.

Thanks!!! Sounds like they should work fine but will let everyone know if they aren't compatible.
