Who gave them bad reviews? I have them installed and they are phenomenal. In fact, they now throw so much light in high beam mode that it's almost hard to find a place to turn them on. You need a lot of "runway"

Mine have been flawless as well, no complaints from me.
I think 5000k would be best to match the factory low beam. Do we face any heat issues or any problem by upgrading the factory high beam with this LED.
yes, old post but a reply anyways.
that bulb specs at 8v, while the pwm will supply an average of what could be less than 8. in some old post i show the actual number, but i dont remember it. therefore theres a high probability it wont work for the drl, and you would need to disable the drl and only use the bulb as high beam.
if the average pwm is > the spec voltage, AND if the error box has some capacitance, then it might work on full power when in drl mode.
for ease, the best option seems to be the version BPGX460 has. Theyre tried and proven.
for max light, theres active cooled versions but these also require either a pwm driver converter (like BGX460s) or some relay work to get the drl to operate acceptably.

Seems like a lot of fussing and work when these kick *** and just plug and play
As I mentioned, on high beam mode they are stupid bright, I Can't imagine needing more power
in general, the faster you go the more light you need.
there's also rural situations where you really need to have much more light in order to spot large animals
Ill add that i recommend to try those first. for most people they will be sufficient, and they are much less work.

It's a big box with 305 hp... I'm not too worried about outdriving my lights
Those guys seem to be VERY talented! Their site has some really nice work on it. Too bad nothing for GX460 that I could find. Also wonder if they even ship international
