Default Stuck in 4lo

I was driving my car today (everything has been working fine) and after eating lunch the 4lo light came on, the slip indicator light came on and the check engine light. Now my car will not disengage from 4lo. Has anyone had this problem? Any help or advice will gladly be taken. Thanks

Is this the secondary air injection problem people speak of? Can anyone confirm this? Best way to know is to pull the code for the check engine light.

I know Lexus extended the warranty for this particular repair.

Did you happen to take that pic with the 4lo flashing light off? If so, Yes I would say it is the secondary intake. If you are not in limp mode you are fine to drive it.

Yes the 4lo is flashing. Must of snapped the pic when it was off for a second. How do I know if I'm in limp mode?
thanks

Loss of power, you can only accelerate to about 45 Mph. This doesn't hurt anything, it's just annoying. I only received this with additional part malfunctions that came shortly after the first malfunction.

As tecman has been able to confirm... if you do go into limp mode disconnect the electrical connector on the air pump. I can't remember if you would need to reset the CEL as well though.

Just happened to us exactly as described yesterday! We limped the car to Lexus of Louisville and they replaced the pump and did the airbag recall in 1 business day, total cost $0. Thanks Club Lexus for saving me from heart failure.
