Didn't event think about the puddle lights, I will definitely want to retain those which it looks like @Carnevino was able to do with what he called "minor modification". Thank you both for your input, I think I am going to have to order these sliders before the sale ends!

Some observations on this install as different from my Budbuilt skids. These use quite a number of spacers and remove some components that are left in place on mine. Mine simply bolt up to stock locations.

The following aren't removed with my Budbuilt skids

@nuclearn8 @CaptRog21
Victory 4x4 have sliders that maintain under lighting. I really like the sleek look of them as well, but haven't heard much real world experiences with them.

@Acrad
Such a shame that $1,000+ custom sliders have to be modified to "fit" the intended vehicle. I haven't heard good things about their response to the early adopters either.

I sent an inquiry off to Budbuilt on what the cost for just the front and mid skid would be (same as stock). In 1/8" steel ...weight is negligible but this may interest anyone for just convenience with oil changes. These simply bolt up with existing hardware and nothing needs to be modified. Not that it would be warranty issue but for those concerned you could drop and replace your stock skids in half an hour or less if needed.

I just did an oil change with my bud built skid plates. Everything lined up and it was super easy!

Does anyone have an updated part number for the Lexus OEM full gas tank skid plate? I saw that these are now included on the off road package.

thanks!

It's the same part as those on the 4runner off road, trail and pro models. You can likely find a new take off cheap if you watch your local Craigslist or the 4runner forums... That's how I found mine, for cheap.

@AgentRichy
They look great! What made you go with the flat over the angled and what's the big red button on the dash for?

I've narrowed it down to the RSG angled, top plate, without kick out along with the victory 4x4 sliders.

I chose flat because I wanted to ensure the step was usable. I wanted the wife and kids to be able to get in easily and also use the extra foot space to reach the roof rack. Angled looks nice too but i was not sure I would’ve like them; and it seems it would raise the height of the step. It took me 6 weeks to get them... The red button is an ejection button to get rid of the passenger! Ha! It’s an LED light switch.

Anyone know if these ARB sliders on Amazon for Prado150 line up with 2018 GX460? I know they are not on ARB's US website but certainly more cost effective if your not rubbin big rocks every weekend.
